Centenary Reconciliation Concert - Cadogan Hall

3rd October 2018

Cadogan Hall
Cultural Solidarity Media present a Centenary Reconciliation Concert on Wednesday 10th October, 7pm at Cadogan Hall to mark the end of the First World War featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and international soloists.

From the echoes of the first shot in Sarajevo up to the work inspired by the Artic Convoys and reflections of Auschwitz, the programme reflects the horrors of conflict, heroism and resignation with the ultimate triumph of the human spirit.

It features works by Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich through to Vaughan Williams and George Lloyd, who both had a first-hand experience of military service in the war, recalling the historical cataclysms of the 20th century out of which we grew to build the world of today.

£3 from every ticket sold will be donated to our Scarlets Appeal
